Introducing the Pakistan Luxury Guide
What the Guide covers, how every story is checked, and how we keep our reporting independent.

The Pakistan Luxury Guide is an independent guide to luxury in Pakistan, written for readers at home and abroad. It covers style, homes, motoring, travel, dining, craft and society, with a directory of brands, hotels, restaurants and developments. Every fact shows its source and the date we last confirmed it, and anything a brand has paid for is clearly labelled.
What we cover
We write about the things people in Pakistan and the diaspora spend time and money on. That means fashion and jewellery, new homes and developments, cars, hotels and getaways, restaurants, handmade goods and the events that fill the calendar.
- Style, Homes and Motoring
- Escapes and The Table
- Made in Pakistan and Society and Events
- Gifting and Guides
- The Brief, our short daily news
- From Abroad, for readers overseas
Alongside the stories sits a directory of brands, developments, hotels, restaurants and venues. Each entry shows its facts, when we last checked them, and where they came from.
How a story reaches you
Every story starts from something we can name: a brand announcement, a public record, a visit or a conversation. We list our sources at the foot of the page. We never copy another publication's writing.
We use software to collect information, spot duplicates and draft first versions. A person always decides what is published. A named editor is responsible for every story, and the page says when it was last verified.
How we stay independent
Brands can pay us to tell their story. Those pieces carry a clear Partner content label, are written with the brand and are edited by the Guide. They never carry our Guide Approved mark, and money cannot buy that mark.
Guide Insiders, our reader contributors, disclose any hosted visit or gift next to their review. Our reviews, rankings and awards are never for sale.
Corrections and contact
If we get something wrong, tell us. We fix it quickly, record the change on the page and keep a public list of corrections. You can also ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you from the privacy centre.
Who writes the Guide?
A small team of editors, with help from contributing editors and reader Insiders. Software helps us collect facts and draft, but a named editor reads and approves every story before it goes live.
Can a brand pay to be listed or praised?
A brand can pay for a clearly labelled partner story. It cannot pay for a listing to rank higher, for a review, or for the Guide Approved mark.
