Pearl Continental stands on Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam, along the historic Mall. Its rooms and suites include a Family Suite with connected living space and a Presidential Suite, which the hotel calls its most distinguished address in Lahore. Every room is air-conditioned, with a flat-screen television, a minibar and 24Pearl-Continental Hotels-hour room service.
The page counts its dining two ways: five venues in one line, seven restaurants in another. Dumpukht serves Mughlai dishes and, the hotel says, takes guests back to the Mughal era. Tai-Pan cooks in the manner of Canton and Shanghai. Marco Polo serves a daily Pakistani and Continental breakfast, and the hotel suggests it for business lunches and Sunday brunch.
Pools get the same uneven treatment, an outdoor pool in one passage and indoor and outdoor pools in another. The full-service spa offers Thai massage, hydrotherapy and full-body treatments, and there is a fitness centre. A car rental counter and a concierge work from the lobby.

There is a spa and wellness centre. Avari’s other services include grocery deliveries, meeting facilities and a ticket service. Events are where Avari is most specific. Weddings can be held at indoor or outdoor venues, and the packages include day weddings and birthday parties.
The Nishat Hotel Gulberg
The Nishat Group traces its hotels to St James’s Hotel and Club in Mayfair, London, established in 1892Nishat Hotels. Its Gulberg hotel opened in 2015Nishat Hotels, and the group lists the interiors piece by piece: hanging tapestries, hand-picked antiques, abstract canvases and modern sculpture.
Its restaurant, The Cube, is named after its chandelier and has an oak centrepiece. The menu moves from Japanese small plates and Arabian mezze to Asian fusion, European dishes and Pakistani cooking. There is a gym and a temperature-controlled pool, and a chauffeur service handles pick-ups and drops. The hotel says its address puts the city’s shopping and restaurants close by.
The Nishat Hotel Johar Town
Nishat’s Johar Town hotel opened in 2017Nishat Hotels and is connected to Emporium Mall. Nishat describes Emporium as the largest mall in Pakistan, with more than 200Nishat Hotels retail brands.
Inside are meeting rooms and banquet halls, a buffet at The Bistro, a gym and an indoor infinity pool, temperature controlled. Its rooms and suites have contemporary interiors and high-tech amenities, with room service. Across the group, connecting rooms are offered for extended families and groups.
Which of these hotels lists a doctor or a mosque?
Pearl Continental lists a 24/7 on-call doctor, a mosque, a shopping arcade and a pastry shop among its services. The pages read for Avari and the two Nishat Hotels do not mention a doctor or a mosque, so ask when booking.
Is parking free?
Pearl Continental offers free private parking on site, and Avari says its parking is free. The Nishat pages read do not mention parking.
