Ordering bridal couture in Pakistan: the wait, the deposit and the cancellation rules
A bridal outfit from HSY may take 12 to 16 weeks from payment to delivery, and a 50 per cent down payment confirms the order. Faiza Saqlain processes all its orders within 10 to 12 weeks, then delivers within Pakistan in about 5 to 7 business days. Each house counts its weeks differently, which changes when a bride should order.
How HSY makes a couture outfit
HSY’s specialists draw up a colour palette for the client, and its designers turn her ideas into sketches. Its tailors then make technical drawings that record each measurement. Work goes ahead once she gives her approval, and a mock-up in toile fabric then tests the fit.
Embroidery is worked on a frame, the motifs set in place and finished bead by bead. The embellished fabric goes through HSY’s stitching unit, and the client comes in for a fitting at which each seam is adjusted to her. The outfit is then collected from the studio in Gulberg, Lahore, or delivered anywhere in the world.

Deposits, refunds and cancellation
At HSY, the balance falls due when the outfit is ready, before it is delivered. No payment is refunded, because every outfit is tailor-made to the client’s size and preferences. At Faiza Saqlain, a placed order cannot be cancelled, so settle on the piece before ordering.
